1950'S Pee Wee Cowboy Boots |
||
|
This is a gorgeous pair of vintage pee wee style cowboy boots with that cuban heel we love so much!! Also called "Border Boots" a term used loosely to define cowboy boots made by bespoke boot makers (usually Mexican) in the Rio Grande valley. Very similar in style to boots made by the late Frank Leddy. Circa mid to late 50's, they are black leather with great looking butterfly inlay design on the front & the back in orange & yellow. The toe is neither real square nor really pointed. The very tip is slightly squared off only. These show all the signs of a great hand made boot. 2 rows of square pegs and hand done stitching. They are probably women's boots but they are not marked either way. Inside is a code "475F". |
